This has been a country basically built by white folks. ~ Pat BuchananSouth of the Mason-Dixon Line this country was entirely built using the sweat and blood of black folk. This is a country built through the wholesale slaughter of red folk. This is a country that could not feed itself today without the stooped labor of brown folk.
I am a white man of Finnish-German-Irish heritage and, yes, I am proud of that. My pride does not require me to pretend that the melanin content of my skin makes me better than someone else. I don't belong to the same race as Pat Buchanan; I probably don't even belong to the same species.
